Share our love of handbags, books, and all things gossip...okay, and Twilight too.

We're two delightfully crass gals who spend an inordinate amount of time texting and e-mailing one another throughout the day. We've decided to expound on some of our best work. Please to enjoy.

How Much Longer Can She Resist?!

It's done. Sister Bitches has finally watched Twilight. She was full of sarcastic commentary and was not as enthralled by the movie as we had hoped. We explained to her in depth that the movie does the book no justice and this is only a wee taste of the awesomeness that is to come in the book. I felt a small victory was won, however. Now, instead of absolutely refusing to read the book, she now says she "will think about it." I will now hound her relentlessly until she gives in. I feel it is my duty.

"Read me Little Bitches!"

I'm still beyond perplexed...how could she not have fallen in love immediately? She's a friggin teenager, Twilight was written for her age group!

We did demand she become a follower of our blog, Twilight fan or not. Perhaps being surrounded by other Twilight lovers she'll gain some understanding and realize she just has to know what all the fuss is about. Trust me, one day she will thank me.

She will have to read the books. Its a must. The books are way way better than the movie. I honestly was disappointed in the movie.(hasn't stopped me from watching it more than i'm willing to admit.eh sometimes daily) But the movie has nothing on the books.. I'm in awe of the books compared to the movie. I've got really high hopes for new moon and I really hope they will not be crushed.. Don't give up on her! She'll give in!

@cehm - totally illegal...I'm freaking out a little because I left the DVD and my Stars of Twilight mag at home.

@Aimee - I'm trying to not get my hopes too high for New Moon because Twilight really is bad, but I too have now watched it way too many times. Just talked to SIL FC and she downloaded it on her iPod and watches it a little during her lunch break each day...she is crazy awesome!

@Aimee...I'm with you on the movie. I like it, and will continue to watch it, although it could have been a lot better. I have really high expectations for New Moon and I'm hoping that I don't have them so high that they'll never meet them...

@Fire Crotch...She downloaded it to her iPod?! Holy crap...she's my hero.

Congrats on your victory. It's only a matter of time! muahahaha...She must read the books! Tell her a puppy is saved for every line she reads. Or you could her at gunpoint.

I had an out of body expierence when my local grocery store sample food lady said she read Twilight, but has no desire to read the rest! WTF?! I swear she wasn't drunk. Maybe senial? I had strong urges to slap her.

@Tasha - Um, how is that even possible? How can you just stop at Twilight? I think my heart would burst out of my chest and my brain would have oozed out of my ears. Okay, not really, but yeah, I just can't understand that.

@Tasha..."A puppy is saved" haha...I like that one! Perhaps I could promise her unlimited ice cream throughout her reading, that actually may work. heh.
WTF?! How in the heck could someone simply stop reading at Twilight?! That's like stopping a nail-biting thriller movie halfway through...it just isn't humanly possible. I thank my lucky stars everyday that I read the series after all four books were out, I would've gone insane.

There is no way i could have stopped at just twilight. It's so bad that everytime I reread one of them I have to continue on to the next one. I wont tell you how many times i've read them.. That may be a bit much but i can read all 4 books in less than 2 days. And I can easily become OCD over it.. I can't stop with just one.. Its really very sad.. My kids can fix their own dinner now..(if you call cereal or sandwiches dinner and the oldest has learned to heat up spaghetti o's n the mircrowave) very sad I know..

Bitches ~ you should sik FC on her, she got me to read the books after much harrassment, um i mean persuasion... and i think i may be becoming more obsessed than she is now. I think Twilight and R.P. was the topic of at least half our phone conversation last night.

When brother FC came walking in the room hearing the girly mood of the conversation he merely rolled his eyes. "Who are you talking to?"... Oh your sister honey... He just sighed and sat down to watch his show, knowing all hope was lost of me not mentioning Twilight afterwards.
